“Daybreak OC" is the first weekday morning newscast for all of Southern California that focuses on the news, traffic, sports, people, business, and weather focused primarily on Orange County. The two-hour newscast will air Monday through Friday on KDOC-TV from 6 to 8 a.m. Broadcast news veterans Shally Zomorodi & Pete Weitzner will host the show. Daybreak OC, will launch in high definition (HDTV) on KDOC on Monday, September 10 and will air Monday-Friday from 6 am to 8 am.
